Introducing our Judges for the Shinju Art Awards 2026 .
We are very proud to have a full Kimberley judging panel that covers the breadth and depth of experience, genres and materials. These luminaries will be bringing their careful eye, deep connection to the region and knowledge of styles and skills to their judging on 31st August.
There are still a couple of days to register your artwork on the @shinjumatsuri website.

We are kicking off regular programs in the Ceramics studio by opening our doors to those who already have a regular practice and want time and space to develop their own skills.
First week is 20 August.
We ran our first glazing workshop last night with our 'Cake on a Plate' participants... and on Thursday we will open the kiln and reveal the results!
With our new ceramics team, and the fabulous Tanya Lee, @tanyatechnicallyteaches all participants had an item to glaze and the variety of creative designs and approaches was amazing.
On Saturday we'll be eating pizza and cake off our new plates.
Everyone is welcome to join us - we'll have more plates and lots of other fun to share.
If you have been thinking about entering into the Shinju Art Awards, now is the time! There are 5 days left to register. Follow the QR code for further info and entry form.
