I was born in Perth, Western Australia, and moved to Broome in 2010 which is where I now call home. After leaving school, I studied art at Curtin University for 2 years, before deciding to complete an education degree. I have always continued my art practice and predominantly work in the mediums of acrylic and watercolour painting, drawing and mixed media. My art draws on the different aspects of everyday life and nature - I often combine commonplace images with visuals from dreams and stories. My interest is in exploring the inextricable links between all elements of our existence. The intricate connections between people, places, animals and stories are what I find fascinating.

As an emerging artist, I am passionate about supporting and empowering local artists, and creating opportunities to collaborate to build the reputation of arts in the Kimberley. I have a background in education and community services so my vision is to combine this with my passion for art. Eventually I hope pursue further studies in art therapy in order to develop and facilitate community based art workshops that focus on promoting positive mental health and wellbeing. With friend and fellow artist Leah Rakabundel, I run Los Bagus Collection - a small arts business in which we facilitate workshops and pop- up exhibitions.
