SUMMARY:Ebb + Flow 13th April
DESCRIPTION:‘Ebb + Flow’ is a program that has been adapted across 10 regions of WA. Across the state\, different artists have worked with schools and communities to create artworks that resonate with connections and explore how we can use art for mental health and wellbeing. \nThe phrase ‘Ebb + Flow’ evokes Broome’s dramatic tidal movements\, and artist Namie Hatherley will lead us in the creation of a labyrinth; not a maze to get lost in\, but a pathway that allows us to track into ourselves\, and then track back out to the world. \nSessions are set around our tides\, and the labyrinth created from the environment around us will be returned to the environment with the help of the incoming water. Each session will build on the last\, starting from small personal mandalas to a large and all encompassing labyrinth made by everyone. \nNOTE: Wear closed shoes. You may wish to bring gloves for your comfort\, but we will have tools and supplies available. \nEbb+ Flow is a collaboration between North Midlands Project and the Regional Arts Network. We acknowledge the valuable support of Healthway\, Act Belong Commit\, Lotterywest\, and the Regional Arts Fund. \nLocation: across the road from Matsos\, on the foreshore of Roebuck Bay \n \n\n\n\nDATES\nTIMES\n\n\nFriday 4 April\n5.00pm to 7.00pm\n\n\nSunday 13 April\n4.45pm to 6.45pm\n\n\nSunday 27 April\n4.30pm to 6.30pm\n\n\n\n  \nFee:       FREE
