Christine Hingston’s exhibition ‘Beyond the Unknown’ showcases works linked to the red earth of the Kimberley, the blue skies, iconic landscapes, camp dogs, and beloved boab trees!

Christine is an award winning contemporary artist. She is represented by galleries in Australia, Indonesia and Singapore. Christine has been a finalist twice in The Black Swan Portrait Prize and her paintings hang in London, Geneva, Los Angles, Moscow and throughout Australia.

Christine spends her time living and painting in Australia and Bali where she has a beautiful studio in the jungle. She is influenced by the iconic Australian colours of blue skies, red dusty soil and hot summer days at the beach. In her studio in Ubud, the soft colours of ripening rice, magical birds and butterflies and flowers are both Christine’s view and inspiration.

Christine uses many techniques and materials in her paintings including oil and acrylic paint, rust paint and charcoal, gold leaf and collage
