For those who want time and space to play with clay. 

On Thursday afternoons, the KAN Shed will be open so that you can bring your project, connect with other clay people and take some time to build your practice in a supportive environment.

One of KAN’s ceramics team will be on hand to help out, but there is no training or teaching; instead, it’s a great opportunity to devote time in the company of other potters, increase your own skill level and make use of the dedicated space that KAN has created. Participants can use KAN’s tools and equipment (not the kiln). They must supply their own clay, glazes and other expendables. If they want, participants can store green works at KAN in the drying area: all works must be well-labelled.

Fee:       $5 KAN Members $10 non-members

Clay:   KAN can on-sell 5kg blocks of standard clay and glazes

Firings: Firings will be planned when there is enough work to go in the kiln.
