Kimberley Open Studios Trail

Kimberley Open Studios Trail

The Kimberley Open Studios Trail offers visitors a way to discover our artists, craftspeople, makers and creators in all the towns and communities from Broome to Wyndham!

The Kimberley is a vast and creative region and the Open Studios Trail offers visitors a way to discover our artists, craftspeople, makers and creators in all the towns and communities from Broome to Wyndham!

KAN is working with artists, community groups and art centres to develop new artworks and give a boost to their creative side hustles.  Built on the back of the popular Art Trail in the Broome Fringe Festival, this new and expanded Open Studios Trail encourages artists, galleries and art centres across the whole Kimberley to join in. KAN will be supporting independent practitioners, emerging artists and community groups to develop works that can be showcased and sold.

The aim is to support independent, grassroots and creative enterprises who are working in our remote region to have the platform, confidence and connections to build their business and be part of our growing arts economy.

Over a week in the busy Kimberley dry season, a fascinating and diverse range of studio sites will be available for visitors to discover as they traverse the region. Printed programs are available in each town centre throughout the Kimberley to support visitors to discover unique and creative output of the Kimberley.

The Kimberley Open Studios Trail has been made possible through investment from the WA Government.
