Little Vocal is an OPEN MIC spoken word night!
Join the Broome Writers Group and others at the KAN Shed for a Broome-style backyard Spoken Word event. Little Vocal happens on the first Monday each month, April-October (2026 season).
We welcome all those who would like to get up and share some words; just come along and sign up. Themes are always optional, you are welcome to take inspiration from whatever resonates with you. “Crow” is the June theme. There are limited spaces for guaranteed performance slots, so make sure you get your name on the sheet early.

Entry is free. Come along to listen, or to speak, howl, roar your spoken word and poetry. Small bar, pen fire and refreshments for sale by KAN.
