Description
The Shinju Matsuri Art Awards are a highlight of the annual Shinju Matsuri Fesstival of the Pearl. The event showcases leading artists from across the Kimberley and awards are given in a range of categories recognising mulitple artforms.
The overall winner is acquired by the Shire of Broome, contributing to the Shire’s collection of art that stretches back 45 years.
Join us for the launch event and awards presentation on 23rd August, and teh Awards are open to the public throughout the Shinju week.
Audiences are invited to vote for the People’s Choice Award which is announced at the Shinju Matsuri Closing Ceremony.
