The Town Beach Jetty will become a runway like no other as models and dancers strut their stuff in an exciting array of textiles and fashion inspired by the Kimberley.
This unique event is a celebration of Broome and the Kimberley’s textile arts, fashion and performance. You’ll get a first look at new Kimberley collections, woven together with textiles and dance, all enhanced by the stunning location.
The event takes place on the new Town Beach Jetty surrounded by the twilight environment of Roebuck Bay. A runway likes this invites a creative approach to presentation and the models will include local identities and dancers, and will also feature Tara Gower’s Burrb Wanggarraju Nurlu dance crew.
The event will feature textiles and fashion from local artists and creators across the Kimberley, including Broome’s own Nagula Jarndu, Warringari Arts in Kununurra, Rukaji Designs from the Fitzroy Valley, Jaru Girl from the East Kimberley and other local independent designers.
Doors open at 5.00pm, giving you time to arrive and enjoy the atmosphere with a glass of bubbles at the bar. Then take your seat and enjoy the show.
