KAN’s Annual Snapshot Auction is happening in Broome on the 6th December, and we are calling for entries!
The Auction showcases and sells small works (no bigger than 30 x 30 cm) in all genres from artists across the Kimberley. The Auction is a great night out and features music, a bar, food and a fantastic opportunity to immerse yourself in local art whilst supporting KAN to deliver its annual membership program.
For Artists, the Snapshot Auction provides a platform to showcase a glimpse of their art. Artists are invited to submit artworks with an artist statement for auction. This will allow other artists and the public to get to know the artists, their practice and process. The funds raised on the night are put back toward providing future programs for KAN members.
The Auction has been running since 2019 and has helped KAN to grow into the thriving arts organisation that it is today.
So come along to support local arts and pick up a piece for yourself, or even as a unique Christmas gift. Artists get creating – we look forward to seeing your entries!
