The Snapshot Auction is a key event of the Broome Fringe Festival and an annual opportunity for artists to showcase a ‘snapshot’ of their work in a small format artwork of any genre.
The Snapshot Auction is on Saturday 5th June
Artists, professional or emerging, are invited to submit artworks with an artist statement for exhibition and audiences can get to know you as an artist; your style, practice and process.

Then join the fun as the works are auctioned off in a lively atmosphere by renown local auctioneer-at-large, Chris Maher. There’s also music, refreshments and a bar. Sale of works raises funds to support local artists and also assists KAN’s work that drives opportunity for the Kimberley arts community and increases audiences and activity.
We recognise the importance of supporting our Kimberley creative community – not just with the opportunity to be shown – but also to be paid, so Auction proceeds are your choice. Select which option is best for you:
- 100% donation to KAN
- 50% to you and 50% donation to KAN
- 75% donation to KAN and 25% to you
